On Thursday, November 16, 2017, Belsoft Collaboration AG presented the cognitive HR Assistant<\/em> to a broad public at the Watson Summit held in the KKL Lucerne.<\/p>\n

Human resources departments are sometimes flooded with job applications. The probability that there is not enough time to review all applications is rather high.<\/p>\n

\"WatsonMany companies are already using software to screen applications according to keywords and specific algorithms. But there are ways to trick this review method as a candidate and so often every application must be reread by an employee, in order to achieve serious results.<\/p>\n

Belsoft Collaboration AG, together with the partner Elstar IT<\/a>, has developed a solution that not only analyzes the keywords of an application but can also evaluate the formulations and moods in the text via the IBM Watson analysis.<\/p>\n

The Watson analysis operates on the basis of a cognitive process. A graphical evaluation shows, among other things, how well the candidate matches the advertised position based on the formulations and the terminologies used. Job postings are also evaluated according to specific criteria of the language used and can thus be compared with the results of the applicants. This significantly increases the chances of finding the right employee for the right job, and through machine learning, Watson learns from the analyzed texts, the results are steadily improving.<\/p>\n

\"VernetztesThe HR Assistant<\/em> won the “IBM Collaboration Solutions Worldwide Developer” competition in September 2016 as the best application and has been evolving constantly ever since.
\nNew features have been made possible thanks to new and simplified Watson services, planned extensions, such as a multi-lingual interface, have been incorporated and feedback from customers was taken into account.<\/p>\n

HR Assistant<\/em> can be run as a cloud only solution or in a hybrid setup, where the data is stored on a server in your own company.<\/p>\n
